Nice looking truck and I think the business plan is solid.

You can raise up the bar across the back as long as total height is not over 13 feet. I doubt it really needs to be all the way to the rear. You could take out the old one and keep it to put it back in later.

Just confirms what has been shown by most other reviews pinless is useless for firewood. shame you did not take reading prior to splitting the wood to show the variation between surface readings (which are usually lower) than the centre of the wood after splitting. Also the pinless measures at least 3/4 in into the wood it will read the moisture in your hand if it is covering the back of the firewood.

I think I’m almost envious, a perfect job for a retired person. Only thing I see is the grapple seems to swing around when travelling, as an old trucker I’d find some way to secure it from moving while travelling. You’re a quick study and do a good job. Cheers.

Brad, why don't you take the good logs back to your wood yard instead of the dump. Or, sell them to other woodsters?

You spoke previously, of the controls being backwards from what your used to on a excavator. It's Farley common for an excavator made in the last 25 years. to have a switch valve that changes the main boom and jib boom from side to side. . Sitting in operator seat.. Main boom on your left is generally called John deere pattern. Or pattern A . Main boom on right, is generally called cat controls. Or pattern B . The a and b pattern I've seen on sub 12K kubota excavators. . I highly doubt that that machine has the valve, you whould need to swap hoses on it most likely. I'd say far more people are accustomed to the B pattern then the A pattern. . Being a loader, the jib boom operates backwards from a earth moving excavator. As the ram is on the underside, where a digger has it on top for max force digging, not lifting. . Clear as mud? LOL

You might want to put yourself a place to carry a saw on that truck for when you go pickup without the crew there when loading. I have found that if you don't when picking up there is always one that need to be cut and without a saw you have to make a trip to get one. That grapple truck is a huge addition to your process and will make you and them money on the long run!

You Added Reflecting Safety Tape to the Body (Dump Bed)

You put the red/white caution tape on the bed sides between jobs...Are the windows tinted in the truck? Some angles it looks to be and others, not so much? Is it physically possible to hit the hydraulic rams on the bed? I see now why the front of bed angles down. Glad the BTS truck is working out so well!👍 Be safe out there...
